Our Mauritius Big Game Fishing charters focus on targeting some of the ocean’s most sought-after predators:

We primarily use high-speed trolling with artificial lures, as well as live bait and dead bait such as small tuna. This proven method attracts large pelagic species—including the elusive grander Blue Marlin (over 1,000 lbs), which are landed here every year.
Our fishing base is perfectly located on the west coast of Mauritius, between Port Louis and Le Morne Brabant—a hotspot for big game fishing.

Billfish: Blue Marlin, Black Marlin & More
Blue Marlin thrive in the Mauritian summer months, favouring warm waters and active currents. The Mauritius record for Blue Marlin on 80lb test line is 1,270 lbs, still one of the most impressive catches worldwide. Globally, the IGFA record on 130lb test is 1,376 lbs.
Black Marlin, on the other hand, can be found year-round, especially during the cooler Mauritian winter. The local record stands at 794 lbs, with individuals ranging from 100 to over 1,500 lbs.
- We use a combination of trolling techniques, including:
- Fast trolling (7–10 knots) with artificial lures
- Slow trolling with live bait or dead bait to attract massive predators
